I just tested this, downgrading Live 10.0.3b6 to 10.0.1 has fixed pretty much every single bit of lag there is in Ableton 10.

If you have a 144hz screen OR a Macbook pro after 2015 (Metal2 support) then I highly advise downgrading if you want better GUI performance. After downgrading to 10.0.1, my performance increased about 2x. Best to you all and thanks to uploaders of this fine daw.First of all, the release notes suggest many IMPROVEMENTS to the UI performance in arrangement view after beta 10.0.1, however performance is drastically WORSE in 10.0.3b6.

Anyone has any thoughts on this Live automatic update issue? Live is a very able and creative daw so I stick with it inspite of the quirks. This have happened three times last 2-3 months. Then everything was running smooth as usual.

Had to uninstall and new install of Live 10.01 patched and with the proper keygen for 10.0.1. Trying to autherize with r2r keygen failed over and over. And because of that it reported Live not being autherized. And yet " automatic update to 10.0.2 occurd. But after that the new configfile created was no longer a Version 10.0.1 but instead 10.0.2? I had unchecked automatic updates and send crashreport in the preference dislog on Live. " Only solution was to trash configfile just to even be able to start Live "clean" as default.
Live posts a "A serious program error occured. Often in conjunction with VEP 5 as of the startup of a perfectly working setup the day before. I had the same issue with crashes of Live v10.0.1.
